Biographical Info:

David Cook is a lifelong Arizonan who owns and operates the DC Cattle Company. He ran for the Legislature to ensure rural Arizona would have a strong voice in the Legislature and to fight for the needs of Arizona families and businesses.

Since his election, he has established himself as a leader on issues that relate to ranching, agriculture, rural issues, water, and education. His focus on getting government out of the people’s way has resulted in him being able to vote on bills to bring more jobs and growth to our part of Arizona. He has also been a vocal leader on the issue of transportation and infrastructure and has led the fight to bring increased funding for roads and bridges to our part of the state.

David has been married to Diana since 2000 and they have two children. He is active in his community and makes time to cheer on the Arizona Cardinals and Diamondbacks.

Statement:

I’ve served rural Arizona at the State Capitol for 8 years. It is essential to have quality representation from someone who knows rural Arizona, its special communities, and its unique needs. In the last redistricting, rural Arizona lost seats in the legislature to Maricopa County, making the seats that remain even more critical. I’m a Christian Conservative committed to protecting our families, economy, national heritage, and values. Some candidates seek headlines and social media followings with outlandish behavior. Not me. Thanks to my rancher upbringing, I believe in showing up early and getting the work done, no matter how hard the job is or how long it takes. If you prefer a workhorse to a showhorse, then I ask for your prayers and vote.
