Biographical Info:

My name is Breanna Farnsworth, and I am proud to call the Mayer community home. I grew up in Spring Valley, Arizona, and attended Mayer Elementary School and Mayer Jr./Sr. High School through my sophomore year. This community and school district were an important part of my childhood, and today I have the opportunity to raise my own family in the same community that helped shape me.

I am a wife, mother of three, local business owner, and active member of our community. My husband, Toby, and I own Farnsworth & Sons Roofing, a local family business serving Yavapai County. Through our business, church, youth activities, and community involvement, I have had the opportunity to work alongside and get to know many of the families who make this area special.

As a parent & grandparent, I understand how important it is for families to know their children are receiving a quality education in a safe, supportive environment. I believe our schools should provide students with opportunities to succeed, whether their future includes college, a trade, the workforce, military service, or another path.

Statement:

I’m running for the Mayer Unified School District Governing Board because this community is home. I want to be a voice for our students, parents, staff and teachers. while helping ensure our schools remain a place where every student has the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed.

I believe in listening to parents and community members, asking questions, being responsible with the resources entrusted to the district, and making decisions with the best interests of our students at the forefront.

For me, serving on the school board would be an opportunity to give back to the community that I grew up in and continue investing in a strong future for the next generation of Mayer students.
