I have dedicated many years to community service in various roles: youth chess club coach, Boy Scout leader, merit badge counselor, mentor through Big Brothers, and campaign manager. I was an electrical engineer for 37 years in the aerospace industry. My father, a former U. S. Air Force pilot, inspired me to fly high and see the big picture. I did that by obtaining a pilot license shortly after graduating Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. I also serve my church as an usher and as its Knights of Columbus Deputy Grand Knight.
Statement:
As a state senator, I would like to pass objectively good legislation that promotes Jobs, Opportunities, and Safety to improve lifestyle for Arizona families.
