Statement:
I am a Native Arizonan and grew up in the Scottsdale area as well as a business owner of the largest Sports Medicine and Weight training facility in the nation. I love this city; I am running to be your next Councilwoman on the Scottsdale City Council because I am very concerned about the radical policies being implemented throughout our nation. The local races impact individual families, legal residents and schools at the visceral level in every sphere of life. CRT in our schools, an increase in violent crime, homelessness, vagrancy and drug cartels have increased in the city of Scottsdale.
Being on staff with the 2020 election team has equipped me to be on the alert for the socialistic and communistic bent of the Scottsdale City Council enacting ordinances, such as the anti-discrimination ordinance #4497 to allow men and boys in women’s bathrooms which passed 7-0 by our Council in 2021. Over 10,000 high-density, high-rise multi-use apartment complexes have been passed to deconstruct our suburban way of life. Mass transit systems have already been approved in the General Plan by the previous Council which will allow vagrants, the homeless and traffickers to infiltrate our beautiful city. Scottsdale is a recreation and tourist attraction as well as home to 240,000 people and homeowners, we need the tourist industry to keep our economy strong. I am Pro-life, Pro-family, Pro-Local business, Pro-1st and 2nd Amendment, Pro-sensible develpment and Pro-low taxes. I will fight to keep crime low and our neighborhoods and schools safe by increasing our police force to help stop the cartels from invading our cities with fentanyl and human trafficking and to keep our downtown and Old Town Scottsdale from the over-development of apartments and high-rise development. I would welcome your vote in 2022 to keep Scottsdale the gem that shines brilliantly in the desert! www.pamelacarter.com
