I am highly engaged in the Legislative District 1 community and volunteer for several political and civic organizations, including the Yavapai County Republican Party, the State and National Federation of Republican Women, the Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association, and the Armed Women of America. Having lived in LD1 since 1971, I have a deep respect for our rich history and am dedicated to protecting and strengthening Arizona.
Throughout my career as a nurse in this community and while teaching nursing at Yavapai Community College, I am accustomed to making a difference in the lives of others. I come from a long line of public servants in my family and am called to serve the community in which I was raised.
Statement:
I am running for this office to serve as a legislator in the Arizona State House of Representatives to continue to make a difference in the lives of others. Public service runs in my family, and I am called to serve. I am proud to be a life-long conservative Republican driven by priorities to protect and defend the Constitution, promote a strong border and election integrity, reduce the tax burden and government overregulation, maintain fiscal responsibility and economic opportunity, uphold the right to bear arms, defend life, support our troops and families, and protect state rights.
Having served for two terms in the State House, I have a proven record of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to serve in the State House and thrive in demanding environments. As a state legislator, my priorities continue to support the AZ House Plan to promote public safety, protect individual rights and liberties, and preserve the American dream.
