I have a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Public Service and a Master’s degree in International Security from the University of Arizona in addition to a Master’s degree in Education, Administration and Supervision from Liberty University. My wife and I have lived in legislative district 17 for more than 21 years. Additionally, I currently serve as an elected school board member in the Vail Unified School District. I volunteer as a peer mentor for at risk students and a reading mentor. I also serve as a greeter in my church. Lastly, I work part-time as a substitute teacher and specialize in American government and civics.
Statement:
Over 30 years ago, I took my oath of enlistment to serve our nation when I joined the U.S. Air Force. I am running to continue my life of service this time to the great state of Arizona where I have chosen to make my forever home. I grew up in scouting where they taught us to always leave a place better than you found it and that is what I want to do for the people of Arizona.
