Statement:
Families across District 19 are ready for a Representative who treats their paycheck with the respect it deserves and their neighborhood with the urgency it needs. Vail to Green Valley, Sierra Vista to Safford, suburban neighborhoods in Pima County to our rural counties of Cochise, Graham, Greenlee and Santa Cruz, our Arizona citizens all want the same things. Citizens want well maintained streets and roadways, lower prices at the grocery store and gas pump, and they want their families protected. Southern Arizonans want to know that if something goes wrong at home, on the road or in our schools-there is someone in Phoenix who is actually listening and fighting for real common sense solutions, not just passing the problem along.
I am running as a candidate and would be honored to represent this wonderful district, not because I have all the answers, but because I listen to working families, small business owners, ranchers and farmers, teachers and retires and I will fight for what matters most- that our citizens across District 19 have the opportunity to thrive. While others at the capitol talk abstract economic growth and argue about hurdles in legislative debates; I talk about your paycheck, your utility costs, the skyrocketing rent and mortgage payments, your fridge and the price of groceries, and your gas tank. This primary election voters have a choice not between party labels or slogans, but whether the next two years we finally ease the pressure on families and communities like yours in Legislative District 19. If you’re ready for a representative with Arizona values who will treat your concerns like they are not just another talking point or line in a budget debate, I would be grateful to earn your vote. ~Cheryl Caswell CaswellForArizona19.com
