Biographical Info:

I’m a fourth-generation Arizonan whose great-grandfather immigrated from Mexico to work in the copper mines near Globe and became a legal citizen. Raised in Phoenix’s Arcadia area, I built the nation’s largest sports medicine and weight training facility in Scottsdale, training NFL athletes and ASU football players. That experience led to my national health and fitness television program, “Get in Shape with Pamela Carter,” which aired for 18 years on TBN and hosted various local TV shows. I hold a master’s degree in Communications and Biblical Studies and currently serve on the board of Help 4 Kidz, an organization that reaches at-risk youth. I am currently serving as a State Legislator in LD4 and have sponsored several bills to protect children from online predators and to support school choice.

Statement:

I’m running for reelection because serving the people of Legislative District 4 is more than a job — it’s a calling. As a Christian, I believe we are each called to use our gifts in the service of others, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to fight for the families, small businesses, and communities that make Arizona great. In my first term, I hit the ground running — passing legislation to protect deployed military service members from vehicle taxes, championing Arizona’s nuclear energy future, and sponsoring Cade’s Law to hold accountable those who coerce minors toward suicide online. I also fought to crack down on the sexual extortion of minors and worked to protect Arizona homebuyers from out-of-state investors. Despite a challenging, divided government environment, I earned the Vice Chair position on the Public Safety and Law Enforcement Committee — and I used that platform to advance the values that matter most to Arizona: safe communities, parental rights, low taxes, secure elections, and local control. The work isn’t finished, and as long as Arizona families are counting on me, I’m not finished either.
