Rodney is a Trump conservative and the only candidate running with experience as a practicing attorney.
As a Lieutenant Colonel, when Rodney puts on his uniform to serve at Luke Air Force Base, he leads the active-duty legal office of JAGs, paralegals, and support staff providing all the legal services for the one-star general and base squadrons commanders. He has prosecuted drug dealers and financial crimes while protecting victims of sexual assault.
Rodney is also a successful litigator who has fedhis family for nearly two decades as a private-sector attorney.
Experience matters because the Arizona Attorney General runs the largest law office in the state, with over 400 attorneys and 1,000 support staff, providing all legal services for every state agency.
Protecting law enforcement means standing with law enforcement every time.
Protecting children means safeguarding school choice, keeping biological boys out of girls sports, combating fentanyl and human trafficking, and advocating for parents and families.
Protecting prosperity means enforcing Arizonas election laws, defending small businesses from overregulation, rooting out fraud, and ensuring Arizonas consumers and seniors are protected.
As Arizonas next Attorney General, Rodney will focus the Attorney Generals office on what matters most: protecting Arizona and Arizonans.

| Question | Response | Comments/Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Enacting state-level restrictions on firearm ownership beyond current Arizona law. | O* | I support the Second Amendment and the right to bear arms. |
| 2. Adding sexual orientation and gender identity as protected classes in Arizona nondiscrimination statutes. | O | |
| 3. Expanding state-level enforcement efforts to deter illegal border crossings. | S* | Our southern border is a massive law-and-order problem. 55% of the fentanyl in the United States passes through Maricopa County. As Attorney General, cracking down on crime would be my top priority -- and that starts with controlling our border and illegal immigration. |
| 4. Prohibiting taxpayer funds from directly or indirectly funding abortion services, except where required by federal law. | O* | Taxpayers should not have to pay for abortions. |
| 5. Maintaining the universal Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program without limiting eligibility. | S* | School choice is a critical parental right, and Arizona's ESA accounts are excellent resources for Arizona families. As Attorney General, I will protect ESA accounts and fight in and out of the courtroom to ensure they are available to all Arizona families. Right now, we have an Attorney General who refuses to provide any legal services to the Department of Education and is actively trying to prosecute parents. |
| 6. Legalizing physician-assisted suicide for individuals seeking end-of-life assistance, regardless of terminal illness. | O* | Life is sacred and should be protected; doctors swear an oath to do no harm and should not be asked to participate in death. |
| 7. Allowing licensed counselors to provide therapy to minors seeking to reduce or manage same-sex attraction or gender dysphoria, with parental consent. | S* | Parents, not bureaucrats, know their child's best interest for both mental and physical health. It is not the place of the government to determine what should be discussed in therapy. |
| 8. Increasing criminal penalties for the sale and distribution of fentanyl and other illicit drugs. | S* | Arizona is one of the few states that did not see a drop in homicides in 2025; drugs flowing over our southern border are the primary reason why. Drug dealers should be imprisoned for the maximum period allowed by law, and, in many cases, that period should be increased. Fentanyl deaths are a plague on our communities. |
| 9. Requiring stronger age verification and parental consent protections for minors accessing social media platforms and downloading mobile applications. | S* | After a decade of unregulated social media for teenagers, our children are more depressed, more lonely, and more likely to hurt themselves. These technologies are dangerous for children; the government should make it easier for parents to control their children's access. |
| 10. Increasing criminal penalties for individuals who purchase sex. | S | |
| 11. Requiring election procedures that ensure voter identification verification and ballot security. | S* | Arizona's election law is not being enforced. Without fair elections, our government loses the legitimacy it derives from being governed of, by, and for the people. Nearly all developed countries on earth require strong voter identification verification and strict ballot security; Arizona should do the same. |
| 12. Enacting a legislative referral that would ask voters to repeal Arizona Proposition 139, the constitutional right to abortion. | -* | As Attorney General, it will be my job to enforce the laws as passed by Arizona voters and their representatives. Providing policy answers about pending litigation may impact those cases, and for that reason, I have declined to answer this question. Voters can be confident I will enforce Arizona's laws. |
| 13. Expanding current marijuana laws to increase accessibility to recreational marijuana for adults. | O |
