2. Amending the Arizona State Constitution to grant a fundamental right to every individual to an abortion. −* I am running for US Congress and this topic is not in the Constitution and thereby not a federal issue. This issue according to the tenth amendment reverts back to the states or the people.
3. Appointing federal judges who will interpret the U.S. Constitution according to the framers’ original intent or text, rather than by evolving standards. S* The Constitution has made America the greatest and most prosperous country in the world as it is written. No change is necessary.
4. Adding "sexual orientation," "gender identity," and "gender expression" to the protected classes of race, religion, age, sex, and ancestry in nondiscrimination law. O* God made man and woman with an "X" or a "Y" chromosome. There is no "Z" chromosome.
5. Allowing all parents to use tax credits and taxpayer funded empowerment scholarship accounts to enable their children to attend any private school, homeschool, or online academy of their choice. S* Parents need to be able to send their children to school without indoctrination or social issues being taught. Also, the community needs to band together and throw out educators, staff, and management promoting social agendas.
6. Amending the U.S. Constitution to require Congress to balance the federal budget every year. S* Additionally, not allow any debt unless for payback our military defenses. And then limited to three years without any further debt.
7. Using taxpayer funds to support any organization that performs, promotes, or provides referrals for abortion. O* Life begins at conception. Abortion is murder. Only permitted if the life of the mother is threatened (biblical interpretation).
8. Interpreting the 2nd Amendment as protecting an individual’s right to keep and bear arms. S* "Shall not be infringed" means that no law, state or federal, shall be made to prevent citizens from owning and carrying a weapon. Particularly a firearm (pistol).
9. Allowing individuals and businesses to not provide services or promote ideas that violate their moral or religious beliefs. S* Private businesses are run by individuals who determine their options to provide services as they like. You can't make a cake maker change your snow tires.
10. Federalizing election law by removing state authority over elections. O* Article I Section 4 Clause 1 - specifies this belongs to the states. However, the US Congress can require proof of citizenship and photo ID.
11. Eliminating the filibuster rule requiring 60 votes in the U.S. Senate to move most legislation. S* The entire concept of dragging our feet is contrary to the best interest of the people. vote yes or no, but get it over-with.
