Biographical Info:

Mario was born in El Salvador. Mario’s parents had the foresight and courage to flee a tyrannical government in El Salvador during the 1980’s civil war, his parents taught him the responsibility of becoming an American. They instilled values of conservatism, hard work, character, honesty, and integrity. These values continue to guide his beliefs and behaviors, as a husband, father, and your neighbor. On July 3, 2006, Mario totally embraced the freedoms afforded by this great country by becoming a US Citizen and today remains committed to the spirit of his parents. Mario has lived in Gilbert for 11 years with his wife and since have had two kids. Mario has always known he would serve and give back to the country that has given him so much.

I’ve always known I would run for office because I wanted to give back in service to America. God gave my parents the foresight to flee El Salvador in the mid 1980’s during the civil war. I truly believe that America is the greatest country God has given to man.

There are many concerning issues at play now, overspending, tyrannical government encroaching on bodily autonomy, irresponsible local leadership. The erosion of our little children protected against those that wish to teach them disgusting topics only their parents should be involved in when their parents deem their age is appropriate. Much has changed since I was a child and I don’t see things getting better if we don’t step in and do something about it. I don’t claim to have all the answers but I know that God is my light and he guides my footsteps. I am a God fearing man and I understand the tremendous responsibility I have to be a good shepherd to Him, in turn my community. I’m running to do my part to keep this country the amazing place it was for me to grow and mature into adulthood. I’m running to give others the opportunities I had to work hard and see a return on their investments. I’m running to do my part to make my neighborhood just a little bit better than it was when I moved there. I’m running to serve my country.
