Statement:
As your Gilbert Town Councilman, I will promote the rich heritage and sense of community that we appreciate. I want the children of Gilbert to enjoy the values, safety, and special character of this community. My wife and I specifically chose Gilbert as our home because of that Gilbert charm. As an immigrant to the United States, I especially cherish its values, freedoms, and Constitution. Similarly, I cherish Gilbert’s heritage while thoughtfully embracing its future. However, we still have pertinent issues affecting our community. One aspect is the rapid increase in the Suicide rate among the youth in Arizona and specifically in Gilbert. Our community needs someone who would champion those issues that are affecting our school system and the youth.
