I believe our local governing boards need people with real world business experience. I also know that needs to be tempered with knowledge of how government works. I have learned that while business practices need to be applied to government, that isn't always possible. As a conservative Republican, I believe we need to apply our solid principles of limited government and personal freedom at the local level - now more than ever as we strive to emerge from the economic stranglehold created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
