Biographical Info:

I am a Christian, Border Patrol wife, mother of five, former teacher, and former business executive. I have called southeastern AZ home for almost 20 years. My faith is of the utmost importance to me and keeps me grounded. I enjoy camping, hiking, and attending church with my family.

Statement:

My husband suggested that I run for office around a year ago when I was becoming very concerned about the direction our nation was beginning to go after the 2020 election. I prayed on it for a few weeks and received God’s confirmation. I want a prosperous America for my children and grandchildren. Our education system is broken. My husband isn’t able to do his job because the Border is wide open. While illegals were flooding into our country, my husband was being forced to get the jab or lose his job. My children were being forced to wear masks. I want to get elected and try to do some good and get things going in the right direction!

Question Response Comments/Notes
1. Expanding background checks to include guns purchased from private individuals. O* The Second Amendment of The United States Constitution states that we the people have the right to keep and bear arms, and this right shall not be infringed.
2. Adding “sexual orientation,” “gender identity,” or “gender expression” to the protected classes of race, religion, age, sex, and ancestry in nondiscrimination law. O* Sexual orientation and gender identity should NOT be included as protected classes because they are choices.
3. Prohibiting abortion except when it is necessary to prevent the death of the mother. S* I believe that life begins at conception and that we should fight for the right to life for the unborn, who are unable to speak for themselves.
4. Allowing biological males that identify as transgender to play on female sports teams. O* Biological males should NOT be able to compete against female athletes. It is dangerous, unfair, and absolutely ridiculous.
5. Providing state funding to abortion entities that perform or refer for abortion. O* I, and many other pro-life citizens, do not want our tax dollars supporting abortion in any way.
6. Allowing all parents to use tax credits, vouchers, or education savings accounts to enable their children to attend any public, charter, private, homeschool, or online academy. S* I am a huge advocate for school choice! Having a child with special needs, and the indoctrination occurring in public schools, has made me realize how important it is that the money follows the child to the educational setting which will allow the child to be successful.
7. Legalizing physician-assisted suicide. O* Physician assisted suicide is playing God.
8. Allowing parents to seek professional counseling for their minor child with same-sex attraction or gender identity issues. S* I believe that many times this is an issue stemming from trauma and can be addressed in therapy.
9. Protecting individuals and businesses from being required to provide services or use their artistic expression in a manner that violates their moral or religious beliefs. S* An individual with strong Christian convictions should never be forced to take part in a same sex wedding ceremony, or any other event that violates their personal values or beliefs.
10. Keeping the flat income tax rate in Arizona’s state tax code. S* I support this but I do believe a 1% reduction across the board would be excellent. AZ currently has a massive surplus, and the people should be allowed to keep more of their income.
11. Requiring any government entity, including schools, to inform parents about their child’s physical, emotional, or mental health. S* The parent is in charge of the child's well-being. Parents rights are getting infringed upon more and more, and we need to ensure that the Parents Bill of Rights is strictly adhered to.
12. Establishing electric retail competition to eliminate the current monopoly system for electric utilities. S* A free market is key to capitalism.
