Statement:
I am running for Sheriff for a multitude of reasons. For far too long the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has been self-serving and operating on a “good ole boy” mentality. The Sheriff’s Department is not reflective of the community in which it serves. Pima County is a VERY diverse community and the time is NOW, for a more gender and culturally diverse command staff. Change in law enforcement needs to start at the top. Leadership should be reflective of the community that it represents. Having first hand experience of the issues surrounding the Sheriff's Department and being a whistle-blower in 2016, I understand better than anyone, what needs to happen to effect the much needed change moving forward. My platforms identify the needed change. www.kubitskey4sheriff.com
