Meet the Candidate

Running For:
School Board
Scottsdale Elementary
husband Michael, 5 daughters, one son-in-law, one grandson, 3 dogs
I am running for governing board because I am passionate about God, family and country and I believe the future of our country depends on the children of today. Since the removal of prayer from our schools in 1962, this nation has witnessed a slow and steady decline of what was once a system of academic excellence and moral standards. Today, many parents feel their children are being more politicized than educated. History is being exchanged for current events, classic literature from great writers is swapped out for modern novels, and Science is going from theory to settled. If elected I will scrutinize and fully review all curriculum with parental transparency. I believe that parents are always the final decision makers for their children. I will always fight on the side of the student and parent.
