Meet the Candidate

Running For:
City Council
Self Employed Business owner.
Bachelor of Science from University of California, Varied professional education
Wife, Eight Children, Two Grandchildren,
Since moving to Arizona in 1988, I have served as an elected member of the Arizona House of Representatives and as an elected member of the Maricopa Community College Governing Board. I am running for the Gilbert Town Counsel because I want to bring fiscal accountability to the counsel from the perspective of a business owner. As a member of the Arizona legislature, I participated in balancing a budget at the height of the recession without a tax increase. As the President of the Maricopa Community College Governing Board, I participated in balancing a billion dollar budget and lowered property taxes twice. I will bring responsible fiscal experience and expertise to the Gilbert Town Counsel.
