I am running for re-election to continue being pro business. When I was first elected in 2012 the general fund was $27 million in the red, working with Mayor Weiers, council and a great City Manager, Kevin Phelps, we have successfully turned the city around. Today we have $47 million in our contingency fund. We haven't slowed down, have over 20 million square feet of commercial buildings coming on line. World class hotels and entertainment are preceding with their plans for development at our sports entertainment district.
