1. Expanding background checks to include guns purchased from private individuals. O* I do not support expanding the laws that interfere with law abiding citizens to purchase firearms from private citizens.
2. Adding “sexual orientation,” “gender identity,” or “gender expression” to the protected classes of race, religion, age, sex, and ancestry in nondiscrimination law. O* I support the LGBTQ community and believe the constitution protects all citizens including those who self-identify as LGBTQ.
3. Prohibiting abortion except when it is necessary to prevent the death of the mother. O* I support a woman if her life is in jeopardy if she is rapped, incest but I don’t support late term abortions!
4. Allowing biological males that identify as transgender to play on female sports’ teams. O* The biological nature of one’s sex would give males an unfair advantage over girls’ in sports.
5. Providing state funding or referrals to abortion entities that perform or refer for abortion. O* I support victims of crimes having the funding in cases of rape or incest or if the mother’s life is in danger.
6. Reforming the Arizona tax code to enact a flat income tax rate. S* I fully support a flat tax for all.
7. Allowing all parents to use tax credits, vouchers, or education savings accounts to enable their children to attend any public, charter, private, homeschool, or online academy. S* I fully support all forms of school choice.
8. Legalizing physician-assisted suicide. S* When a person has a terminal diagnosis it is there right to deiced along with their doctor if it is an option to die.
9. Protecting a parent's right to seek professional counseling for their minor child with same-sex attraction or gender identity issues to help them reach their desired outcome. S* I support parents being able to obtain professional counseling when necessary.
10. Requiring public schools to teach comprehensive sex education. O* I am not sure what is meant by comprehensive but I support basic sex education regarding sexually transmitted diseases.
11. Protecting individuals and businesses from being required to provide services or use their artistic expression in a manner that violates their moral or religious beliefs. S* The constitution is clear on this subject no business can be forced to provide services when it is against there religious moral values.
12. Establishing electric retail competition to eliminate the current monopoly system for electric utilities. -* On the surface this sounds great but more information is needed to determine the cost to consumers.
