Statement:
The Arizona Corporation Commission's Mission is, to Power Arizona's Future. The ACC's oversight includes utility services/rates, regulating all foreign and domestic business, protecting citizens by enforcing an ethical securities marketplace, and overseeing safety of pipelines, railroads and hazardous materials transport. In short Commissioners are responsible for advocating and creating policy on behalf of all Arizona residents. Arizona has fallen dramatically behind other states, in creating policy, for the implementation of clean, sustainable, and renewable energy resources. It's time to take the lead by electing individuals to the ACC who will make the environment top priority. We must establish progressive energy policy, promote sustainable energy resource development, and create affordable energy solutions for every Arizona resident. Our quality of life and future health depend on it.
