Biographical Info:

Valley native and lifelong Scottsdale resident, Lisa attended Scottsdale public schools, graduated with her BS from ASU and went on to get her JD at St. John’s School of Law in New York. Lisa began her career in commercial litigation and opened her law office in Scottsdale in 2010. For over two decades, Lisa represented 1000s of homeowners against builders who failed to uphold their promises.
Lisa’s most important accomplishment, however, is raising her beautiful daughter, Savannah, who in her second year at University of Arizona.
Lisa has been active in our community her entire life. She previously served on the Scottsdale City Council from 2008 to 2012 where she led the charge pushing for meaningful structural changes to the budget process in favor of taxpayers. Lisa’s strong convictions as a fiscal conservative were critical to the successful recovery the City experienced following the great recession. These important principals remain a top priority for Lisa once elected Mayor.
In addition to her service as an elected member of the Council, she has served on numerous boards and committees, including: Experience Scottsdale Board of Directors, Scottsdale Audit Committee, Water Subcommittee, and the Westworld Subcommittee. Lisa has a passion for promoting the city’s hospitality industry and is committed to maintaining and growing Scottsdale as a premiere tourist destination recognized throughout the county and the world.
Aside from her service to Scottsdale, Lisa has also served numerous philanthropic and and non-profit organizations, including: O’Connor House Avon Program, National Advisory Council of TGen’s Center for Rare Childhood Disease Research, Chapter Vice President of National Charity League, Arabian Horse Association, and Scottsdale Charros Foundation Board where she co-Chairs the Community Outreach Committee and serves on the Donations Committee which furthers the goals of the organization by raising money and awareness for underprivileged Scottsdale youth and the elderly.

Statement:

As a lifelong Scottsdale resident, I feel strongly that our city is headed in the wrong direction. The liberal agenda, including the push to urbanize our community through high density rental communities, mass transit, increased taxation, homeless hotels and reckless spending of taxpayer dollars, will lead to the deterioration of our quality of life; we must put an end to these destructive decisions and get Scottsdale back on track. I am running for Mayor with the mission of protecting Scottsdale’s valuable future.
