Statement:
I am a political and social conservative who is pro-life and who believes in limited government and personal freedom. I believe in free markets that maximize personal and business achievement and provide opportunity and a good lifestyle for the people. I have held these views since high school and have promoted them in my personal life, in my nine years service on two town councils and in my fourteen years in the Arizona legislature. I have A+ ratings from both the NRA and American Conservative Union. I do not believe I have ever taken a position opposed by the Center for Arizona Policy.
