Presidential Candidates
Due to low candidate participation and in the interest of providing the most comprehensive and helpful Voter Guide to Arizona voters, Center for Arizona Policy has compiled the following answers based on each candidate’s record.
Barack Obama
1: Repealing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act – OPPOSE
2: Overturning the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on Roe v. Wade establishing a right to legalized abortion – OPPOSE
3: Amending the United States Constitution to define marriage as only the union of one man and one woman – OPPOSE
4: Permitting healthcare professionals to opt out of performing procedures that violate their moral or religious beliefs – OPPOSE
5: Amending the United States Constitution to require Congress to balance the federal budget every year – OPPOSE
6: Passing state laws that authorize local law enforcement officials to enforce federal immigration laws – OPPOSE
7: Providing federal funding to Planned Parenthood and other organizations that provide abortions – SUPPORT
